Me and Wendy Ginn
About a hundred years ago I had the pleasure of living with Wendy Ginn...We met at Pearl River Jr. College ...after Graduation The University of Southern Mississippi became our home....Then as working gals we shared many homes.....Plantation Place , On Golden Pond and The Pink House on Green Street...This is a photo of Little Wendy on her wedding day to Gary Carmichael .....(Our friends referred to us as Big Wendy and Little Wendy.....and still do today) Wendy has been an amazing friend to me .......a fo~ever friend....I love ya Wendy Ginn!!!!
Magic Tricks....
"Wanna see a Free Magic Trick?" are the words that we heard as we walked thru the airport on our way home from our "Epic Christmas Holiday Trip"....Jackson had transformed himself into a magician!! He made lot's of friends and shared his special magic tricks...it was quite comical...Happy New Year!
Route 66
You always hear about the Famous Route 66......today we took it....There are no people for miles and miles....it's beautiful ......but empty...We had a blast flying thru the desert....ghost towns, Indians, junk shops....fun, fun, fun!!!
Happy New Year from The Grand Canyon......
Bright Angel Lodge is where we ended up on New Years Eve....It was really dark....We had a really horrible dinner in the Cafe and after searching for our room with a tiny flashlight. We settled in our 1950's style cabin ...had showers and the boys hit the sack...I stayed up to bring in the New Year with Dick Clark as I have done for years.....Motel coffee and Dick....It was great! There are just no words to describe what we saw as we looked out of our window as the sun was coming up over the rim on January 1, 2012...It was truly one of those Oprah ~Ahhh Haaa moments... We spent the day exploring the park and promised that we would come again and bring everyone we know!!!!
A visit to Pine, Az.....
Cousin Jamie and Cousin Howard invited us to Pine, Az.......Where we spent time in their very fabulous cabin in the mountians of Pine! What a beautiful place! Thanks guys!
