On The 9th Day of Christmas....
A School Project! Mrs.P (Jackson's very Fabulous 1st Grade Teacher) ask if I would come up with an idea and come in and help the kids make a gift for their parents for the Holidays! Well, Of course I would! I was so excited and got busy coming up with a plan! Gourd Snowmen ornaments is what I came up with......With Re-cycled sweaters for hat's , scarves and ear muffs. I can't tell you how much fun I had working with the kids......a very creative bunch! Jackson and I are putting the finishing touches on them tonight!!!
On The 2nd Day of Christmas
Gingerbread House Making Day! Our friend Daniel came over and along with a lot of Lego building.....They decorated Gingerbread Houses!!!!!

The Tooth Fairy is coming!!!!! I love Motherhood...It's so exciting and there is nothing more fun than a visit from the tooth fairy. Jackson's Tooth Fairy brings a silver dollar for each tooth that he places under his pillow. But, we believe the most fun is the Fairy Dust that she dusts the room with....We run around like crazy folks and whip it up and rub it all over us......just so the MAGIC last all day........So Fun!

There is a huge oak tree outside of Jackson's 1st grade class with the most beautiful acorns that I had ever seen.....And when I looked at them, I just kept seeing these little Acorn folks. I could imagine them running thru the forest-running and hiding having a grand time. Thanks to Erin Semmins (Jax's pre-school teacher) for teaching me the art of needle felting...I got busy making all of these wee folks....And thanks to Mrs. P (Jax's 1st grade teacher) for "just going with it" and letting me live out my fantasy...The Kids were so excited and enjoyed the hunt! A visit to Children's Hospital..........
Every year for Jackson's Birthday He has his guest bring a book in lieu of a gift to be donated to Children's Hospital's Read Right Now program! Today was the day to deliver! Jackson and his friend Sara Elmer both had a donation to deliver and along with our friend McKenna and Julie, Sara's Mom- we headed down to the Hospital for the "drop-off" and a grand Lunch in the New and very Fancy Hospital cafeteria! We met with Kristen, The Read Right Now gal made the drop off and learned a very valuable lesson about helping others ! It was a very good day.
