Matthew made it to town-He flew into Birmingham, Ala...jumped in his rental car and was so excited to be heading toward--HogEye ...that he forgot his luggage at the Airport...So, he borrowed some jeans from Dad-and we bought new undee's from the dollar store.....all is good and the fun continues!

Tree Day There are no trees like a fresh cedar tree! My Mom's memories of Childhood Christmas always include a Fresh Cedar Tree...chopped down from "The Land" or her Momma's Silver tree with the Multi color wheel. We set out to the woods to chop down a real cedar tree. There is so much fresh Mistle toe that I wish I could come up with an idea to package and sell it up North! (I'm sure that we would make a fortune)

We're heading to HogEye!!!!! My Mom was raised on a farm in Hog Eye, Mississippi -It's beautiful prarie land and prime deer hunting land. This is the 2nd Christmas that we are spending in Mom and Daddy's Cabin. It's a magical place to be for Christmas-

Family and Friends! We started the day in Hattiesburg, Mississippi visiting some old friends.........And we ended the day having dinner with our Cousins.......... The Cousins! Sister Cindy and Jackson Alexandra, Heather, Neely and Me Shelby , Me and Forrest Georgia, Me and Little Wendy Suzanne, Angeia and The Judge! A visit with Mrs. Ward and Jessie!

The Alligator Ranch!!! Nothing like hanging out with 500+ Alligators for the holiday! We took Jackson to the Alligator ranch to experience first hand what it's like to live in the deep South surrounded by the Swamp and Gators..... We got to feed the alligators and even play with the baby gators..........What fun and nobody lost a finger..... Did you know that all alligators on the planet are born in the month of August! All of them........ Me , Cindy , Jackson , Daddy and Mom....

Jackson and I made it to Boglausa, La. My Hometown !!! One of the highlights of the holiday is going to Cassidy Park to see the Christmas Lights. Our Cousin's met us there and we had a blast.....Drinking Hot Chocolate, singing christmas carols and warming by the Yule Log! From Left to Right...Claudia, Zach, Libby , Mom, Daddy, Jackson ,Jacob and Me!

New York City!!!!!!! We saw the Rockettes today and went ice skating at Rockerfeller Center with The Smith Girls.........NYC is so much fun at Christmas....It was "The Best Day Ever" sings Jackson!

I'm thinking about taking over the "Big Guys" job!!!!!! (Thanks Wendy Ginn Carmichael for such a cool present!) Did you do something Christmasy today?

We're getting ready to head "South" for Christmas...... Grandma Boogie, Granddaddy and Cinny Bear....Get ready.....We are so excited!

We were busy baking Gingerbread men and ladies in Jackson's class on friday.....So much fun. They are going to decorate on Monday!!!!

Today was Christmas Caroling Day...We hooked Princess up and took a ride thru Chestnut Hill and did a little Christmas caroling!!!!!!! Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way!!!!!! Have you been yet?

Cuz'n Christi and I hit the Ice yesterday.......We are Pro-fessionals........hahahhah- It's a good thing that it was just the two of us on the ice.........

It's the 1st day of Hanakkaha and Matthew's Mom and Dad (Grandma Myrna and Poppy) came over to say a prayer and light the candles on the menorah........and, there were lot's of presents........ We are celebrating everything.....Kwanza is next!

Traditions..........Jackson hangs his Christmas Stocking in the Kitchen and for the 23 days before Christmas "The Elves" bring Jackson a present everyday-Today was a good day -those ole elves left Snow boots!!!!! Some days we get a stick of gum or a Hot Wheels car.....you never know! But, it's exciting.........Did you do something Christmasey today?
